MINSK, February 11 (AVN) -- Russian Deputy Prime Minister Ilya Klebanov met with Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko and Prime Minister Sergey Ling in Minsk on Friday.
As a result of the negotiations the parties have a signed an agreement on the establishment of a joint Russian-Belarussian Defence Systems inter-state financial and industrial group. In accordance with this agreement, the already existing Russian group will no be joined by leading Belarussian defence industry enterprises.
It is supposed that such enterprises as Minsk tow-car factory, producing chassis for heavy military vehicles, the Agat research and production company, specialising in automated control and navigation system, the Planar enterprise - developer of micro-integral chips, as well as several other defence industry enterprises will enter the group.
