MOSCOW, February 14 (AVN) - NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe Wesley Clark has awarded five Russian peacemakers serving in Kosovo with US military medals, an official of the Air Force Staff peacemaking forces department told the Military News Agency.

The awards are given to Captain Vladimir Kozlov, Senior Lieutenant Anatoly Zakharchenko, Senior Lieutenant Sergei Pyatakov, Sergeant Konstantin Zhabin and Private Andrei Palyukh, the official said. In mid-January, they were patrolling the area near the Kamenitsa village in the US sector of Kosovo.
