ROSTOV-ON-DON, February 15 (AVN) - The Russian Emergency Ministry plans to reinforce its Chechen group, a source in its North Caucasus regional department told the Military News Agency on Tuesday.
Three composite mobile brigades of 160-180 men each supplied with special vehicles are to be located in Chechnya, the source said. After their deployment, the manning level of the North Caucasus regional department will rise to 1,250 and vehicles level to 320.
One of the mobile brigades is already establishing the territorial department of the ministry in Grozny's Staropromyslovsky district, another is completing the deployment of a new refugee camp for 5000 people in the village of Tolstoy-Yurt.
