RUSSIAN RECONNAISSANCE SHIP TO ACCOMPLISH MISSION IN PERSIAN GULF

SEVASTOPOL, February 16 (AVN) - The Kildin reconnaissance ship of the Black Sea Fleet left Sevastopol for the Bosporus and Dardanelles, the Military News Agency learned from the fleet's staff.

The ship will accomplish the mission similar to that of the Balkans crisis times, that is to collect the information for the Russian General Staff and Navy Staff in the Mediterranean Sea and the Persian Gulf.

The ship is expected to enter the Persian Gulf area on February 22.
