RUSSIA TO RECEIVE LAST GAS-DEBT BOMBERS FROM UKRAINE

MOSCOW, February 18 (AVN) -- The two remaining TU-160 Ukrainian gas-debt bombers are expected to land at the Engels air-base (Southern Russia) on Friday, the Military News Agency learned from the Air Force Staff.

Russian Air Force Commander Anatoly Kornukov left for Engels in connection with this event.

Finally Russia will have all the promised 11 bombers (three TU-95MC and eight TU-160), 600 cruise missiles and airfield equipment that Ukraine sent by trains on Thursday.

The bombers will be included into the combat long-range aviation after the completion of the necessary works that are to last up to the end of April.
