MOSCOW APPOINTS PROSECUTOR OF CHECHNYA

MOSCOW, February 18 (AVN) -- Legal Adviser Vladimir Kravchenko is appointed first prosecutor of the Chechen republic after this institution was re-established in Chechnya, the Military News Agency learned from the General Prosecutor's Office.

Vladimir Kravchenko was born in 1950; in 1971 he graduated from the Saratov Institute of Justice and started to work as an investigator in the town of Zheleznovodsk.

Kravchenko served as deputy prosecutor in different districts of the Stavtopol territory, deputy prosecutor of the territor.

Prior to his recent appoitment he served as deputy chief of the North Caucasus department of the General Prosecutor's Office and supervisor of the most important cases investigation.
