SEVASTOPOL, February 23 (AVN) -- The delegation of the Moscow government headed by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Resin came to the Crimea on Wednesday.
First Deputy Mayor Oleg Tolkachov, Gennady Degtev, prefect of Moscow's central administrative district, representatives of the city administration and journalists participate in the delegation.
Black Sea Fleet Commander Admiral Vladimir Komoyedov , Leonid Grach, the chairman of the Crimean Supreme Rada, members of the Black Sea Fleet military council, representatives of the fleet offices and services met the delegation in the airport, the Military News Agency learned from the Black Sea Fleet Staff.
Leonid Grach, Vladimir Komoyedov and representatives of the Moscow government talked about the perspectives of co-operation, the Crimea-Caucasus ferry project, the peninsula's tourist complex and Moscow's participation in developing Crimean infrastructure and economy.
The participants of the meeting also spoke about the possibility of constructing apartment blocks for Armed Forces veterans and representatives of the deported nations in Simferopol (Crimea administrative centre) at Moscow's government expense. Moscow is also to help Crimea bring in the majority of Russian TV broadcasting channels.
Lieutenant-General Valery Yudin is to be the permanent representative of the Moscow government in the Crimea.
The members of the delegation participated in events dedicated to the Fatherland Defender's Day in Sevastopol; in the ceremony of putting into operation a new apartment block for the sailors and their families built at the expenses of the Moscow government; visited the construction of the other building.
The guests also visited the Moskva missile cruiser and the renovation site of the Moscow State University Black Sea affiliate.
