NINE MARINES INJURED IN APC CRASH IN RUSSIAN FAR EAST

VLADIVOSTOK, March 2 (AVN) - An APC of the Pacific Fleet met with an accident near Vladivostok on Thursday morning, a spokesman for the fleet headquarters told the Military News Agency.

The APC was taking part in the training march of a marine unit not far from the Gornostai Bay. Its young and inexperienced driver lost control of the vehicle and it fell down from a bridge over a ravine.

As a result, nine marines were injured. Three of them were taken to the fleet's military hospital. According to military doctors, despite heavy injuries, their lives are out of danger.
