MOSCOW, March 23 (AVN) - Federal paratroopers have exposed another large rebel cache 15km west of the Sharo-Argun village in the southern Chechen Vedeno gorge, a spokesman for the Airborne Staff operative department said on Thursday.
The cache was spotted by a scouting group of the 51st paratrooper regiment in the course of search operations, the spokesman told the Military News Agency.
Rebels protecting the installation were quickly eliminated, the ammunition they guarded partially removed and partially blasted. In the course of the operation, Private Vladimir Borisov was wounded. He is currently in hospital, and his life is out of danger.
