MOSCOW, March 31 (AVN) - Over the past 24 hours SU-24 Fencer and SU-25 Frogfoot planes have accomplished 10 combat missions in Chechnya, a spokesman for the unified federal headquarters told the Military News Agency on Friday.
Main strikes were inflicted on the earlier exposed targets in the Argun canyon. MI-24 Hind helicopters went on intensive fire support missions in the combat area in the vicinity of Zhani-Vedeno.
Three IL-76 Candid military transport planes have shipped over 20t of civil load to Mozdok. As many as 400 servicemen and three units of ordnance have been evacuated out of the area of operation.
