LAW ENFORCEMENT SEIZE WAHHABI BOOTLEGS IN CHECHNYA

GUDERMES, April 5 (AVN) - In the course of a special operation conducted by the Federal Security Service (FSB) department for Chechnya overnight to Wednesday six bag-fuls of Wahhabi audio- and video-tapes were extracted in one of the districts of the turbulent republic, a spokesman for the Russian governmental envoy to Chechnya administration said.

The contents of the tapes calls for jihad, ethnic hatreds, bloodshed and disobedience to the federal authorities, the spokesman told the Military News Agency.

According to Vyacheslav Kodyaev, head of the FSB department for Chechnya, the proprietor of the tapes is still being searched for. But the operation on extracting such materials will continue he added.
