MOSCOW, April 10 (AVN) - The local Strategic Developments Centre will hold a seminar entitled "National Security Under Conditions of Modern Globalisation" on Tuesday, the Military News Agency learned in the centre press service.
The main speech of the seminar will be delivered by Andrei Kokoshin, deputy chairman of the State Duma committee for industry, construction and knowledge-intensive technologies and correspondent member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Kokoshin will speak on priorities of Russia's national security policy.
Director of the Academy's Institute for the USA and Canada Sergei Rogov will speak on "Economic Realia and Priorities of Defence Security," and deputy chairman of the State Duma defence committee Alexei Arbatov will elaborate on "Russia's Defence Policy in the Changing World."
The seminar will also be attended by Atomic Energy Minister Yevgeny Adamov, First Deputy Chief-of-Staff Yuri Baluyevsky, Security Council Secretary Sergei Ivanov, Air Force Commander Anatoly Kornukov, Navy Commander Vladimir Kuroyedov, Deputy Chief-of-Staff Valery Manilov, president of the Kurchatov Institute research centre Yevgeny Velikhov, director of the Russian Academy of Sciences Institute for Europe Nikolai Shmelev, head of the Strategic Developments Centre fund German Gref and other officials.
