CIS BORDER GUARD CHIEFS TO MEET AGAIN FRIDAY

MOSCOW, April 12 (AVN) - The next 37th meeting of CIS border guards chiefs chaired by Federal Border Guards Service (FBGS) head Konstantin Totsky is to take place here on Friday, a source in the FBGS told the Military News Agency.

According to the source the meeting will discuss a series of drafts of important documents.

These include the Programme for Combating International Terrorism and Other Forms of Extremism up to 2003, the Statute of the CIS Antiterrorist Centre, the Common Border Policy Concept Plan, the Agreement on Information Interaction of the Border Guard Troops Commanders Council and the Council of Law Enforcement and Security Heads, as well as amendments to the CIS Charter.

The sitting will also approve the schedule of working meetings of the chiefs of rear, material and technical supplies of the border guard troops and armament.
