MOSCOW, April 25 (AVN) - Commenting on the information appeared in mass media that Russian envoy to Chechnya Nikolay Koshman and his deputy Bislan Gantamirov have contradictory opinions, Sergei Yastrzhembsky, aide to the Russian President for media coverage of the Chechnya campaign, said that it is "quite a matter-of-course," the Military News Agency learned.
According to him, the officials responsible for restoring the republic and maintaining law and order there in different areas can have different points of view. "I don't see a tragedy in this," Yasterzhembsky told a news briefing, "There are loads of problems in Chechnya, bulk of psychological nuances complicating the situation, - this is quite normal. The views of the situation of the military and civilians often disagree. Apart from that representatives of the Chechen Diaspora can have different approaches towards solving problems. This is inevitable. It is important that the contradictions, if they arrive, should be adjusted amiably. It is not advisable to exhibit all the quarrels in public."
Yastrzhembsky stressed that all the latest events connected with Gantamirov show that he "is occupying a very responsible post and is still playing an important role in the processes going on in the Chechnya republic."
