KALININGRAD, May 3 (AVN) - The local law school of the Interior Ministry and Interior Ministry of the Schleswig-Holstein, Germany signed a protocol on preparation of specialists for the German police for curbing organised crime, Frank Mattisen, head of the state's international relations department told the Military News Agency.
Mattisen signed the protocol only after he made sure that all necessary preparations for the special course had been made. The course will be conducted on the level of the requirements of the European Council. According to Mattisen, if the project will be approved in Moscow and the European Council structures the first seminar will begin on November 13 2000.
In the course of every academic year five five-day seminars will be conducted for the group of ten German policemen in Kaliningrad. The main themes of the course are the modern methods of detection and investigation of the activities of organised crime groups, the interaction between the law-enforcement and controlling bodies for curbing organised crime, etc.
