ODESSA, Ukraine, May 5 (AVN) - A seminar for organisation of the Co-operative Partner 2000 international peacekeeping exercise scheduled for June 19 - July 1 has ended here on Friday, a source in the Ukrainian Defence ministry told the Military News Agency.
According to the source, over 100 representatives from Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, the UK, Greece, Georgia, Romania, the USA, Turkey, France and Sweden attended the seminar.
The exercise will take place at the Black Sea and coastal area and will train co-ordination of international forces in a peacekeeping operation as well as search and rescue of ships in distress.
Co-operative Partner 2000 will comprise 900 men, some 40 ships and vessels, 90 units of ordnance, 30 planes and helicopters.
