BALTIYSK, Kaliningrad Region, May 6 (AVN) - The Baltic Fleet Askold and Svyatoy Pyotr yachts set for the Danish Bornholm island Saturday, a source in the fleet headquarters told the Military News Agency.
The delegation comprising 12 officers and eight cadets of the Baltic Navy Institute is headed by Captain Nikolay Komarov.
On May 12 the Baltic sailors will lay wreaths to the monument to the Russian soldiers that defeated the 12,000-strong garrison of Nazi Germany's naval base in Bornholm in 1945. It is expected that the solemn ceremony will be attended by representatives of the Danish government and parliament.
