SU PLANES PRODUCERS DISCUSS EXPORT CONTRACTS

MOSCOW, May 10 (AVN) - Rubin aviation corporation, Russian leading enterprise for producing landing gear and space and aviation technics systems held a meeting for making and promoting SU combat planes on the international markets, Boris Okulov, Rubin director general told the Military News Agency.

The corporation's products include 500 systems. Its main client is the Sukhoi design bureau.

The meeting was attended by Yury Ivanov, Komsomoslk-on-Amur aviation production enterprise director general, Colonel Viktor Laperdin, head of military approval group, Vladimir Yudin, Promexport deputy director-general, Vyacheslav Shport, deputy chairman of the State Duma industry, construction and knowledge-intensive technologies committee, representatives of other enterprises involved with making SU planes.

The meeting discussed perspectives of export programmes realisation, including license contract with China for SU-30MKK Flanker multirole attack planes and with India for SU-30MKI Flankers, Vyacheslav Shport told the Agency. Rubin is one of the main associate contractors there.
