KHABAROVSK MILITARY PROSECUTORS INITIATE 13 CRIMINAL CASES

KHABAROVSK, May 12 (AVN) - The local garrison prosecutor's office has returned some RUR3m (about USD106,000) of misapplied budget money in the course of the checks in the units of the garrison, a source in the prosecutor's office said on Friday.

Most of the misapplications have been exposed in the Russian Spetsstroi unitary enterprises and in military aviation transport operations, the source told the Military News Agency.

As a result, the prosecutor's office, headed by Colonel Vladimir Matvienko, has initiated as many as 13 criminal cases against military units officials and organisations of the Khabarobvsk garrison, the source stressed.
