BORDER GUARD CHIEF TO GO TO AZERBAIJAN TUESDAY

MOSCOW, May 22 (AVN) - Federal Border Guard Service Director Konstantin Totsky will visit Azerbaijan on Tuesday, a source in the service told the Military News Agency.

Totsky will meet with the administration of the republic. The talks will discuss enforcing the Dagestani part of the Russia-Azerbaijan border, preventing breakthroughs to the Russian territory of foreign mercenaries and supplies of arms to Chechnen rebels from radical Islamic organisations.

According to the Agency's data, Russia is going to place several radars for constant surveillance over the air space in the zone.

The talks will touch upon the forthcoming delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan on highland parts, the source added.
