KIEV, May 23 (AVN) - The Yavorovo international peacekeeping training centre in western Ukraine will receive a Canadian Armed Forces detachment, the Military News Agency learned.
The detachment will accomplish a special training course there on May 9 - 18. After that it will be sent to Kosovo for participating in peacekeeping missions as part of the international force.
A source in the Ukrainian Defence Ministry confirmed the information. He told the Agency that this would be the first group of foreign servicemen to train at Yavorovo for performing specific tasks in Kosovo.
