VORONEZH, May 23 (AVN) - A field meeting of the Russian Management Systems Agency board was held at the local Federal Communications R&D Institute Tuesday, the Military News Agency learned.
The meeting discussed development of the region's electronics industry and equipping the Russian Armed Forces and law-enforcement bodies with radio communications and management means. A decision was made to create a Sozvezdiye state joint stock corporation.
Moreover, a workgroup comprising memebers of the region's government, the Russian Management Systems Agency, the Russian Electronics JSO, the federal electronic equipment development fund will be set up in the near future. It will lay out and provide for approval a plan of development, restructuring and financing the enterprises of the Voronezh Electronics special territorial and production zone.
The integration of radio-technical enterprises on the basis of the Voronezh Communications R&D Institute that is one of Russia's leading companies in the theory and methods of information exchange, designing communication means, will allow to concentrate intellectual and financial resources on breakthrough technologies.
