ST.PETERSBURG, May 24 (AVN) - A composite 50-strong squad of the Kolpinsky regional department of the St. Petersburg and Leningrad region chief interior department will be sent to Chechnya on Wednesday, the Military News Agency learned at the city police press service.
All the squad fighters have accomplished a training course at a special testing ground in close-to-combat conditions. Their instructors were Chechnya officers. Close attention was brought to typical mistakes of the novices being suddenly attacked by the rebels. The nuances of using different types of weapons in a specified combat moment were studied too.
