FED AFV BLASTED ON MINE IN CHECHNYA: 1 KIA, 10 WIA

KHANKALA, May 24 (AVN) - An airborne fighting vehicle of the 104th paratroops regiment blasted on a landmine in the vicinity of Enginoi on the route to its base area on Wednesday, a source in the federal airborne group headquarters told the Military News Agency.

Driver, Private Dmitry Bryukhov, native of the Smolensk region's Vyazma, died in the explosion. Another 10 servicemen including company commander, Captain Viktor Grachyov and platton commander, Lieutenant Roman Sotnikov were wounded.
