KALININGRAD, Western Russia, May 24 (AVN) - Air Force Commander Anatoly Kornukov and Belarussian Air Defence Commander Valery Kostenko will arrive here from Minsk Thursday, the Military News Agency learned.
The two men will study the situation in the air defence and air force units of the Baltic Fleet, Major-General Fedor Kirsanov, deputy fleet commander, told the Agency. They will also discuss the preparation for the joint exercise of the Belarussian and the Baltic Fleet air defence units that is scheduled for August this year.
General Anatoly Kornukov and Lieutenant-General Valery Kostenko will meet the fleet commander, Admiral Vladimir Yegorov and visit the construction site of the new fleet air defence command point.
