RUSSIAN CONTINGENT IN KOSOVO TO HOLD COMPUTERISED TRAINING

PRISTINA, May 31 (AVN) - A computerised training will be held in the KFOR Russian military contingent in June 1-5, a source in the contingent staff told the Military News Agency.

The training will concentrate on performing peacekeeping missions by battalion tactical groups in the zone of their responsibility and also on actions to be taken in case of the escalation of the Kosovo situation, including NATO operations against the Yugoslav Armed Forces.

The training will be supervised by Lieutenant-General Vasily Zavgorodny, deputy head of the General Staff chief operative department office, the source said.
