MINSK, July 12 (AVN) - The Belarussian Armed Forces combat readiness level is something between good and satisfactory, Chief-of-Staff Mikhail Kozlov said summing up the combat training results in the first semester (started on February, 1), the Military News Agency learned Wednesday.
"The mark will be undoubtedly better by the end of the year," the general added. According to him, the computerised training being conducted pay great attention to the command and control issues for units acting as parts of the regional troop group. The improvement of the officers' professional and operational skills will inevitably improve the quality of units combat training.
Irrespective of the austerity programme all of the planned training activities have been conducted in a proper way, stressed Kozlov.
