ROSTOV-ON-DON, July 13 (AVN) - All the 13 component parts of the federation, united in the Southern federal district, have decided to help the Chechnya in the reconstruction of its industry and social sphere, a source in the Chechen administration told the Military News Agency on Thursday.
This decision was brokered by Viktor Kazantsev, the Russian president's envoy to the district, and taken by the heads of the district's republics, territories and regions. The official resolution will be presented at the next session of the North Caucasus economic association in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria.
According to the source, the issues connected with the reconstruction in Chechnya will be largely discussed at the session. Akhmed Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen administration, is working out a list of industrial and economy installations to be reconstructed first. Each of the components of the federation will be responsible for rebuilding specific objects.
