BRUGGE, Belgium, July 13 (AVN) - The Smolny trainer ship of the Russian Baltic Fleet arrived here on a friendly visit on Thursday, the Military News Agency learned.
The vessel carries 250 cadets of the St. Petersburg Naval Institute headed by the Leningrad naval base commander, Vice Admiral Alexander Kornilov. They arrived to attend celebrations of Belgian Navy Day.
The Russian cadets will stay in Brugge until July 17. At the same time, a group of Belgian ships will visit St.Petersburg.
