MOSCOW, July 14 (AVN) - The Defence Ministry department for military economy analysis and expertise has checked the financial and logistical support of the Russian military contingent within KFOR, a source in the ministry told the Military News Agency.
It was found out that some non-budget USD220,000 were spent for the Russian peacekeeping forces in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1999. This happened because Russia's government approved the procedure of the contingent budget financing.
Defence Minister Igor Sergeyev ordered that the main military budget and financing department and the main international military co-operation department should compel all the documents necessary to reimburse the non-budget expenses for the article of the international activity.
