NIZHNY TAGIL, South-western Siberia, July 14 (AVN) - Russian President Vladimir Putin ended his visit to the URALEXPOARMS 2000 exhibition at 11.15 Moscow time (0715 GMT) Friday, the Military News Agency learned.
He was shown the exhibits of the local Metals Testing Institute, Basalt state research and production enterprise, Ural optic-mechanical plant state unitary enterprise. Putin surveyed the ordnance produced by Motovilikinskiye Zavody and Uraltransmash plants, other defence industry plants.
After that the ordnance-in-action show was held. Putin told reporters at the end of the event that he was most of all impressed by the shot of the Grad multiple launch rocket system.
