MINSK, July 14 (AVN) - Belarussian air defence units are completing the preparation for the joint Russian-Belarussian tactical training with life fire, which will be held in August at the Ashuluk proving ground, the Astrakhan region and at the ground of the Baltic Fleet, Cape Taran, a source in the Belarussian air defence headquarters told the Military News Agency.
According to the source, the toops are training every 24 hours. Firing, team and personal habits are being checked and trained. Two divisions of the 147th air defence brigade equipped with S-300V rocket systems and a division of the 56th brigade are deployed in the field next to one of the military airfields where they train firing air targets. The 15 air defence brigade is to come to the Moscow region ground and continue the preparation for the field firing at Cape Taran.
