POLICE, INTERIOR MINISTRY TO IMPROVE ENGINEER EQUIPMENT IN CHECHNYA

KHANKALA, July 17 (AVN) - A special Interior Ministry commission has inspected engineer equipment of the police and Interior Ministry troops installations in Chechnya, the Military News Agency learned Monday.

The commission of 32 specialists was initiated by Interior Minister Vladimir Rushailo right after the series of terrorist acts conducted by the Chechen guerrilla fighters overnight to July 2. According to the commission members, bad equipment of the federal installations in Argun, Gudermes and Achkoi-Martan appeared to be one of the reasons for the heavy losses.
