KHANKALA, August 10 (AVN) - In the past 24 hours the federal SU-25 Frogfoot attack planes have accomplished 10, an AN-30 Clank reconnaissance plane - two, MI-8 Hip, MI-24 Hind, MI-26 Halo - over 30 sorties in Chechnya, a spokesman for the unified federal headquarters told the Military News Agency.
According to preliminary data, six rebel fortified areas and up to 30 rebels were eliminated.
An IL-76 Candid transport airlifted 220 servicemen to Mozdok and evacuated 246 people to Central Russia. MI-8 Hip and MI-26 Halo helicopters ferried 10t of loads in the interests of the Chechen economy.
