MOSCOW, August 10 (AVN) - A group of Russian military topographers has come to Havana in accordance with the plan of Russian-Cuban military co-operation on Thursday , a source in the Defence Ministry main international co-operation department told the Military News Agency.
The group is headed by Lieutenant-General Vladimir Khvostov, head of the General Staff military topography department. The aim of the trip is to share experience in the field of military cartography and topography. The Russian delegation is expected to be received by Cuban National Defence Minister Raul Castro.
The Russian delegation will stay in Cuba till August 13.
