TRANSPORT MINISTRY REFORMS ITS AVIATION SERVICE

MOSCOW, August 17 (AVN) - The RF Transport Ministry has completed the transformation of the federal aviation transport service, a source in the ministry told the Military News Agency.

The service ceased its existence in accordance with the decree issued by the RF president on May 17, 2000. The State civil aviation service was established on the basis of the federal aviation transport service within the ministry's structure. The new service is to fulfil the tasks of the old one. Alexander Neradko was appointed the new service's head - first deputy transport minister in accordance with the governmental regulation of August 5 this year.

Neradko was born in 1961 in Moscow. Graduated from the Moscow civil aviation engineers institute in 1984. Has a degree of an engineer. Beginning from 1985 till 1997 he worked as aeromechanic, shift engineer in the aviation base of the Vnukovo civil aviation production enterprise, chief of the Inter-state aviation committee, deputy chief of the RF Federal Aviation Service' main civil planes flying safety inspection. In 1997 he was appointed chief of the flying safety state supervision department of the federal aviation transport service.
