ST.PETERSBURG ENERGY FIRM CUTS SUPPLIES TO MILITARY REPAIR PLANT

ST.PETERSBURG, August 25 (AVN) - The Lenenergo JS has stopped energy supply to the military repair plant in the territory of the Kalin disrict for debts breaking the current legislature acts, Colonel Pyotr Lukyanov, the Leningrad Military district first deputy armament chief - armament chief-of-staff, told the Military News Agency.

The plants work is paralysed. The actions of the energy suppliers may lead to irreparable consequences for the combat readiness of the troops and are setting obstacles for the military and civil personnel, Lukyanov said. 17 residential houses are located at the plant territory, personnel of a military unit is stationed there too, he said.

City Governor Vladimir Yakovlev expressed his surprise with the action of the energy suppliers.
