MOSCOW, September 12 (AVN) - The Strategic Missile Forces (SMF) Staff denied on Tuesday that servicemen of an SMF division had seized an electric substation in the Teikov district of the Ivanovo region.
The Ivenergo company's administration notified the division command about the forthcoming power cut 10 minutes before it was done, a source in the staff told the Military News Agency.
The division command negotiated with the company leadership and the power supplies for the headquarters and housing facilities of the cantonment were resumed. The negotiations concerning payment of the division's debt for power supplies are still going on. The division owes Ivenergo some RUR15m (USD538,000).
