MOSCOW, September 18 (AVN) - A delegation of the Indian Air Force headed by Air Chief Marshal Anil Yeshwant Tipnis, Indian Air Force chief-of-staff will come to Russia for an official visit on September 20 to 26, a source in the Russian Air Force international co-operation office told the Military News Agency.
The visit envisages meetings and talks between Tipnis and Russian Defence Ministry officials including Air Force Commander Anatoly Kornukov. The Indian guests will visit the Irkutsk aviation production enterprise, the MIG plane-building company and other aviation plants. The delegation will be showed the SU-27 Flanker fighter and MIG-31 interdictor in flight and on the ground at the Russian Air Force base in Savastleik.
