MAKHACHKALA, Dagestan, September 20 (AVN) - Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Rushailo left for Chechnya after the meeting with Magomedali Magomedov, chairman of the Dagestani council and other republic's leaders at the Makhachkala airport, a source in the minister's surrounding told the Military News Agency.
The trip to Chechnya was planned and it aims at acknowledging with the situation in the Interior Ministry group and police departments.
One of the aims is also to make sure whether the demand of Akhmad Kadyrov, head of the temporary administration in Chechnya, to order activities of the federal law-enforcement bodies in the republic was adequate or not. Kadyrov thinks that the federal servicemen break Russian laws particularly those concerning detention and investigative actions in Chechnya. All those issues are partly under the capacity of the Interior Minister.
Upon his return to Makhachkala on Wednesday night, Rushailo is planning to meet heads of the Dagestani law-enforcement bodies.
