BELARUSSIA WINS SECURITY SERVICES COMPETITION

MINSK, September 22 (AVN) - The AKHOVA 2000 (GUARD 2000) open competition of the Belarussian president security service ended Friday, the Military News Agency learned.

The competition was participated by 10 teams from CIS countries and Lithuania. The teams were made of officers of special services guarding chiefs of states and conducting anti-terrorist operations. The referees were members of the Russian National Body Guards Association.

The Belarussian guards won the competition, Kazakh guards were second, Lithuanian department on protection of chiefs of states. Among the anti-terrorist units all the top places were taken by Belarussian units.
