MOSCOW, October 11 (AVN) - The State Duma lower house of Russian parliament adopted a law 'On Social Protection of Persons Engaged in Works with Chemical Weapons", the Military News Agency learned.
The law was supported by 335 deputies in the third hearing. The law sets order of providing social benefits to servicemen, Interior Ministry officers and civilians engaged in dangerous chemical production enterprises, and to those who suffered as a result of work with chemical weapons. For instance, reduction of working week down to 24 hours, free medical service in specialised hospitals, benefits in communal paying. are envisaged for them
An annual vacation of up to 56 days is provided for those who are engaged in scrapping chemical weapons.
