KIEV, October 17 (AVN) - The autumn conference of the armament directors of the NATO member states that will be held in Brussels October 25 will feature a presentation of the new Russian-Ukrainian AN-70 plane, Major-General Mikhail Mitrakhovich, head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces main department for planning, development and production orders of armament and materiel, told the Military News Agency.
According to him, the new plane will be officially presented on behalf of Ukraine by Pyotr Balabuyev, president of the Mid Range Transport Plane international consortium and director-general of the Antonov aviation research and technical enterprise and on behalf of Russia by Leonid Terentyev, director-general of the consirtium.
