MOSCOW, November 14 (AVN) - A three-day seminar on fail safety of aircraft organised by the European and Russian Aviation Centre has finished its work in Moscow, Igor Korepanov, executive director of the centre told the Military News Agency.
The program was worked out by top experts of the Ilyushin aircraft building enterprise who took part in creation of the concept 'Flights Reliability and Safety Systems'. The seminar was a kind of presentation of the author's methods where many aspects of flight security during working out, production and use of aircraft, stressed Korepanov.
Representatives of the Irkutsk industrial aviation enterprise, Dubna-based Raduga state machine-building design bureau, Moscow Vympel enterprise, Moscow Aviaelectromash JS, Voronezh-based Polyot, Moscow-based Yakovlev design bureau, Moscow Salut research and production centre,
St. Petersburg Klimov Plant, Ukrainian Motor-Sich engine-building enterprise in Zaporozhye and others took part in the seminar.
The centre is to hold another three-day seminar on system methods of fail safety of aircraft in 2000, Korepanov noted.
