MOSCOW, November 28 (AVN) - Prospects of Russian KA-50-2 Hocum and MI-28NE Havoc helicopters participation in the South Korean some USD1.8bn tender on supply of 40 choppers are becoming unclear in connection with the establishment of the Rosoboronexport state arms trade broker on the basis of disbanded Rosvoorouzhenie and Promexport companies, Alexei Samusenko, constructor general of the Moscow Mil helicopter plant, told the Military News Agency on Tuesday.
MI-28NE war represented by the Promexport and the KA-50-2 was introduced by the Rosvoorouzhenie. Now the Rosoboronexport will have to present two contesting Russian choppers in the South Korean tender.
Currently it is still unclear how Russia will manage to solve this problem, Samusenko stressed.
