MOSCOW, November 28 (AVN) - The banks engaged in financing the Aeroflot leasing of six IL-96-300 planes and the Transaero leasing of nine TU-204-100 and TU-214 planes have changed their terms of crediting the deal.
Prior to that they were ready to provide money in currency under guarantees of the government. And now they want to provide them in roubles for five years under 24 percent annually, Alexander Rubtsov, director general of the Ilyushin-finance Co leasing company, told the Military News Agency.
According to him, the planes will be leased to the Aeroflot and Transaero under assistance of the Ilyushin-finance Co, set by the Ilyushin plane-building company and the National Reserve Bank. The latter has the biggest part of shares - some 35 percent. The total sum needed is roughly USD350m. Some USD150m will go for IL-96s and over USD200m - for TU-204-100 and TU-214 planes. Rubtsov said the leasing problems are going to be discussed at the government's meeting on December 7.
