MOSCOW, November 28 (AVN) - During its meeting the Russian government discussed the issue "On measures of engineering and scientific personnel supply to defence industry enterprises," said government's information department.
The ministers considered a plan of urgent measures needed to develop and realise the state plan for training of engineering and scientific personnel for defence industry enterprises.
It was noted during the meeting that work in this direction wants improvement and measures need to be taken to establish a special state system of human resources supply of defence industries.
In this connection, the Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies, Ministry of Atomic Energy, and agencies in charge of defence industries were tasked to consider usage of part of means allocated for federal defence-related programmes, for shared funding of training, retraining, and advanced training of specialists of defence enterprises and organisations.
The Ministry of Education and Defence Ministry together with other interested ministries and bodies were tasked to consider a possibility to establish a special office within the Ministry of Education, which would deal with preparation of personnel for defence industry.
