MOSCOW, November 30 (AVN) - The Defence Ministry main department for housing is working out an order introducing new principles of servicemen's housing conditions monitoring, the department chief, Colonel-General Viktor Vlasov, said on Thursday.
Each soldier that signs a contract for military service will have a special card indicating residential premises granted to him, Vlasov told the Military News Agency. The document is issued as soon as the serviceman signs a contract and kept in his file at the HR office. In case the soldier moves to a new apartment, is transferred to a new place of service, or his family grows or decreases in number, the changes are indicated in the card.
The draft order also introduces other innovations that aim to improve monitoring of servicemen's housing conditions and ensure implementation of legal acts related to housing. When completed, it will be submitted for signing to the defence minister.
