MOSCOW, December 7 (AVN) - Four-star General Henry Shelton, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, will come on his working visit to Russia December 11 - 13, a source in the RF Defence Ministry's main international military co-operation department told the Military News Agency.
Shelton is to come to Moscow on an invitation of Russian Chief-of-Staff Anatoly Kvashnin. The main topics of the negotiations are prospects of bilateral co-operation in the military sphere, issues of European security and creation of non-strategic anti-missile system in Europe.
A meeting between Kvashnin and Shelton is planned for December 12. Shelton will be also received by Defence Minister Igor Sergeyev.
