RF NORTH CAUCASUS REPUBLICS LEADERSHIP TO GATHER FOR MILITARY TRAINING

ROSTOV-ON-DON, Southern Russia, December 15 (AVN) - The one day-long training of the North Caucasus republics leadership will take place in the town of Prokhladny, Kabardino-Balkarian republic, on December 17, a source in the North Caucasus military district headquarters told the Military News Agency.

The training is initiated by Lieutenant-General Gennady Troshev, the district commander. As many as 100 people including presidents and leaders of Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachaevo-Cherkesia, Ingushetia, North Ossetia-Alania and Chechnya will take part in the training.

The training participants will be present at life fire, troops operations in attack and defence, see new types of combat equipment and armament, study living conditions of the personnel of the motorised rifle regiment. The training is organised by the district headquarters, command of the 58th guard combined army and the Prokhladny region administration. The local military garrison servicemen led by Lieutenant-Colonel Konstantin Kastornov are responsible for training preparation.

The training participants will be awarded valuable presents and Troshev will promote some of the officers.
